What is known about it.

Dubai Maritime City is one of DP World's flagship developments, with a Commercial District in which the AED 160 million Maritime Business Centre 2 opened in May 2026.
An AED 140 million infrastructure project announced in February 2022 covers a 6 km potable water network, 8 km of stormwater drainage, 6 km of sewage pipelines, a 10 km telecommunications network and 7 km of roads. Its completion date was not stated.
It was described in February 2022 as DP World's purpose-built maritime hub, integrated with the neighbouring Mina Rashid area.
